The SWI Method: Steep With Intention

At Sip With Intention, we believe how you prepare your tea matters just as much as what you steep. That's why we developed The SWI Method — a mindful approach to brewing that invites presence, care, and simplicity into your daily tea moment.

Step 1

Measure

Use 1 tsp (or more depending on the tea type) of loose leaf tea per 8 oz of water. For stronger flavor, adjust to taste — it's your moment.

Step 2

Heat Water Right

Different teas need different temperatures to release their full benefits. Follow our guide below to match your water to the tea type.

Step 3

Steep & Breathe

Set your timer, and take a moment while the tea brews. Use these few minutes to ground yourself, set your intention, or simply enjoy the stillness.

Step 4

Sip Slowly

Once steeped, remove the leaves and enjoy your tea — slowly, mindfully, and with presence.

Whether you're new to loose leaf tea or a seasoned sipper, this guide is here to help you select, steep, and savor each cup with care. From bold black teas to calming herbals, every blend has a purpose — and every sip is a choice to be in the moment.
